Depending on the film chosen, warrantys range through to 12 years and lifetime for the latest residential films. Scratch-Resistant Washable Coating The scratch-resistant surface is applied to the facing side of the film protecting against abrasion and normal cleaning and providing longevity to the product.
Abrasion tested to ASTM D1044 Film Care and Cleaning Do not clean film for 30 days after application
Do not use bristle brush or abrasive cleaning agents
Do not apply adhesive tapes
Do not raise film on corners or edges as this will result in film damage
Clean film using standard cleaning agents free of abrasive additives
Spray film liberally and wipe with clean soft cloth, do not wipe dry
The film requires approximatley 30days to dry and should not be cleaned during this time
The film will appear with a minor clear area around all edges to facilitate contraction and expansion of film and glass Note: some films, while drying, may appear streaky, cloudy or milky.This is normal and will dry out over time.It is a inherent drying property of the adhesive system.
